R. rugosa grows well by roadsides and in sandy soils. The rose hips on our bushes are big and plentiful.

Rich has grown many varieties of garlic over the years. We plan to harvest about 700 pounds of garlic in July 2015.

In 2012 we moved to a 31-acre former small dairy farm on the West Bank of the St. Regis River. This was the view from the house when we moved in.
